Dr. Pearl is a Board Certified Chiropractor and Certified Clinical Nutritionist. His expertise is in the field of Special Needs. Dr. Pearl utilizes an eclectic approach to working with children by employing manual therapies as well as biomedical interventions. His office, Optimal Health and Development Center, is a wellness based center located in Westchester, New York, where Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Art Therapists and Social Workers work together to help understand and develop modalities to help children of all ages. Dr. Pearl has a special focus on children with Autism. His core philosophy is that when we clear out interference within the nervous system, UNBELIEVABLE healing can occur.

Juli Keene, B.S.c, CN

Juli Keene, B.S.c, CN is a Licensed Clinical Nutritionist in private practice in Redondo Beach, CA. A graduate of Chapman University (Magna Cum Laude) and The American Health Science University (Class Valedictorian 1995), she combines her 20 years of experience in the psychology and nutrition fields to help her clients with nutritional testing and natural support for mood problems, hormone balance, substance abuse recovery, high blood pressure, heart health, Hepatitis C, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. She a pediatric nutrition specialist with a special focus on autism spectrum disorders using the DAN! (Defeat Autism Now) approved protocols, ADD, ADHD, Allergies and Asthma as well as mood, learning and behavior problems in children. Juli does technical writing for the dietary supplement industry and has created nutrition programs for ExxonMobil, Nissan, Chevron, Verizon Wireless and The Hermosa Beach City School District. Ronald Uy, RN

Ronald Uy  (B.S. Nursing, B.S. Biology), is a registered nurse working at the Pediatric Department of St. Peter Hospital . He has been working as a nurse for more than 5 years and has rotated in the different clinical areas of the hospital. He is also a member of the Philippine National Red Cross and Philippine Nurses Association. His areas of specialty are in the Emergency Care and Pediatric fields of nursing. He has chosen the Pediatric Department as his area because of his genuine concern and love for children. Ronald also works as a volunteer nurse for the different outreach and medical programs of the Department of Health. He is undergoing continuing studies in Nursing and currently has 18 units in his Masters degree. He has found his calling in Nursing and would like to promote a healthy lifestyle by informing and educating the poor and marginalized members of the community.

David Gilbert received his BA in history from U.C.L.A.  He is currently doing graduate work in psychology at California Graduate Institute, in Los Angeles, CA.  Throughout his career in the mental health field he has worked clinically with several populations, and also contributed to academic works whose topics address both health and mental health issues.

Joy Seeman Graduated from the University of Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, with double majors in both English and French.  She graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, as a member of the National Dean’s List.  She was elected to Phi Kappa Phi, a national honor society, and Phi Delta Phi, a national French honor Society.  She has done post graduate work in Women’s Studies and 19th Century Women Writers, and performed freelance work specializing in medical research and technical writing.

I believe I’ve met you Juli and that’s how I have your business card. You have an amazing website, in that there’s a wealth of information here!

My internist, Dr. Val Margeta asked me to see a nutritionist but as I’ve not heard back from a nutritionist from either TMMC or LCOM, I looked for and found your business card. I want to know whether your office accepts any insurance plans, such as my Aetna preferred provider plan.
